For customers who owns multiple machines, Perkins are now also releasing the Perkins® SmartCap, an essential tool which provides valuable information about how the machines are being used, when they need to be serviced, and where they are.
To make possible the ability to receive engine information on a mobile device which is remote from the machine, Perkins employ crowd data collection technology, whereby any My Engine apps running within range of the SmartCap act as a proxy, transmitting data to the Cloud, which you then receive on your app.
